Principle
Air Water Mechatronics CMS (Carbon Molecular Sieving) has a large oxygen adsorption capacity and a large difference in adsorption rate between oxygen and nitrogen, and can preferentially adsorb oxygen and separate nitrogen gas from air in a short period of time under pressure. By returning to normal pressure, the adsorbed oxygen is easily desorbed and the CMS is regenerated.
The Air Water Mechatronics PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) system is equipped with two CMS adsorption columns and continuously produces high-purity nitrogen gas by alternately repeating adsorption and desorption in a cycle that matches the CMS characteristics.
